Mission Sunday -- On holiday weekends, we sometimes wonder "Is there Adult Education?" and "Is there Sunday School". Well, this year the answer is always "yes, there is!". About once a month, we will combine Adult Education and Sunday School in an All-Parish Mission Activity. This month, on Sunday, our Mission Sunday will be spent planting bulbs around the St. Paul's property. Please bring garden gloves, small shovels and any bulbs you'd like to plant. We'll have some bulbs on hand. Parents are asked to join this activity with their children. We will gather in the Great Hall at 9:00. Please join us! Regularly scheduled Adult Ed and Sunday School will resume on Sunday, October 16.
Renewal of Marriage Vows -- The Episcopal Church has a wonderful liturgy for the Celebration of the Renewal of Marriage Vows. This is often reserved for milestone anniversaries, such as the Carter's 50th, but may be used by anyone at anytime. We will celebrate the Carter's renewal during the 10:00 service, followed by a festive reception. Come celebrate!
Newcomer Brunch
On October 16 following the 10 a.m. service there will be a Newcomer brunch to welcome people who have joined St. Paul’s Church within the last year. If you would like to attend, please speak with Jeff after the service.
Lector at the Cathedral
Betsy Munzer will be the Gospel lector on the Cathedral’s podcast, Sacred Time, for Sunday, October 16.
Family Pot Luck Dinner
Our next Family Pot-luck Dinner is scheduled for October 16th at 5:00 PM. Our conversation topic will be "Kids, Families and Community Service ......What, How, Why and When." Come share, listen and learn how we can all enrich our lives through service...even if you don't have a lot of time to
spare! Families with last names ending in letters A-M please bring a side dish and drink, N-Z please bring a main dish to share. Looking forward to another great night of community sharing and fun!
