Altar of Remembrance

Please bring photos and/or mementos of those whom you love but see no longer to be added to a special “altar of remembrance” during the service.

Necrology

It is the tradition of the church that on All Saints’ Day, the names of parishioners and loved ones who have died in the last year are read as part of the Eucharist.  If you would like a friend or loved one remembered, please contact the office at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Choral Evensong, Sunday November 6 at 5 p.m.

Come bathe yourself in the soothing, meditative prayers and anthems set in this wonderful Anglican choral tradition.  Evensong, or Evening Prayer, dates back in its current form to the English Reformation, but is derived from services in the earliest Christian communities dating back to the medieval period, which began in the 5th Century.

Here at St. Paul’s, we open ourselves to Evensong as a time to reflect on the “ending of the day” in our lives, recognizing the multiple layers of meaning that this may hold for each of us.  In this light, having this evensong on All Saints Day is particularly fitting.

M.O.P. Meeting on Nov. 13

Ministry Outside the Parish (MOP) will hold its first meeting of the program year, directly following the 10 am service in the Lichtenberger Room on November 13. MOP is a social justice organization at St. Paul's that distributes 10% of the parish's annual budget to grass roots and charitable organizations in the local, national and global communities. All interested members of the parish are invited and encouraged to join us! For more information, contact Jeannie Baca ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Playground Stone Wall Needs Your Help!

Recently we noted that some of the stones from the wall in the back of the playground have become loosened over time or been removed. We are afraid that stones being removed from this wall creates a situation that is potentially unsafe and very expensive to repair.  If you are using the playground, please be sure to leave the stone walls in place and encourage others to do the same!  Many thanks for your cooperation.

Lector at the Cathedral

Brett Donham will be the Gospel lector on the Cathedral’s podcast, Sacred Time, for Sunday, November 13th   which is available on their website, www.stpaulboston.org.
