Coffee Hour

New Year’s Day we moved coffee hour to the Rectory where all were treated us to a terrific spread to kick off the New Year. Thanks Jeff, Paul, Ardani, (and Spike)! This Sunday, after church Alan Fried and Ginny Willcox will host coffee hour and will sign up folks to host future coffee hours. We would like to have co-hosts for each week as we are such a big group these days so try to find a partner who can sign up with you or your family.

Mission Sunday, January 15

Make room in your closet!  Bring us your used clothes and toys! Sunday, January 15 between 9-10am. As you find room for your new Christmas gifts in your home, please collect any clothes you have outgrown or toys you do not need anymore and bring them to the Great Hall.  We will collect clothing and shoes for men, women, and children as well as toys that have all their parts.  From 9-10 we will need help sorting all items so that they may be donated to local organizations.  If you have any questions, please speak with Melissa or Chris Dulla.    This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Update your information in the Parish Directory.
Have you ever filled out a Parish Information form?  This form lets us know how we can best serve you and the congregation.  It contains data such as contact numbers, birth and baptismal dates, and mailing and email address, it is a great way to make sure St. Paul's is in the loop for you and your family.  If you've never filled one out, the forms are available after the service at coffee hour during until January 22.  If there have been any additions to your family since you filled one out just wrote "update" at the top.  One other way to update the information is to look at your Parish Directory page in the binder in the Parish Hall and make any necessary adjustments.  If all the information is correct, please initial your entry so we know we do not need to follow up.  We'd like to print a new Parish Directory for the Annual Meeting.
Annual Meeting, Sunday, January 29
Each year, on the Sunday after the feast day of St. Paul, we gather to discuss the business of the parish and share our hopes for our next year together.  The first part of the Annual Meeting takes place within the context of the 10:00 service.  We then adjourn to the Great Hall for lunch and fellowship.  Please plan to join us for this important part of our community life.  Childcare will be provided.  There will be no 8:00 service on this day so everyone can worship together.
Do you have experience in Human Resources? We need you!

We are looking to put together a Personnel Committee to help the Vestry in matters of personnel policy and procedures. If you are interested, or know of someone who might be, please contact Georgia Smith, Senior Warden, at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Family Day at the Cathedral

Saturday, Feb. 11 will be Family Day (10 a.m.-2 p.m.) at the Cathedral Church of St. Paul (138 Tremont Street) in Boston—a time of celebration and learning for children, youth, parents and educators that marks the beginning of the cathedral church’s 100th anniversary year. Plan to come shake off the midwinter doldrums with a day of interactive fun for all, including:
• A gathering and photo opportunity with Bishop Barbara C. Harris (on the anniversary of her 1989 consecration);
• Time with Bishop Tom Shaw;
• An introduction to “The Abundant Garden” children’s program by Episcopal Relief and Development

• Learning about cathedrals through art, song and scavenger hunting;
• Special activities for middle and high school students; and
• Festive worship to culminate the day.
Family Day is free and no advance registration is required.
