St. Paul's responds to tornado disaster

The outbreak of the tornadoes that ravaged the South and Southeast in late April was the largest in US recorded history. The tornadoes caused severe damage to homes, infrastructure, other buildings and just about anything on their paths; and claimed nearly 400 lives.

In light of the horrible losses and damage St. Paul's, through Ministry Outside the Parish (MOP), has decided to make an urgent donation of $2,500 towards the relief efforts. Our donation is being made to Episcopal Relief and Development which is assisting in efforts to bring relief to those now in desperate need.

If you would like to make a personal donation towards the relief efforts please refer to the Episcopal Relief and Development website at http://www.er-d.org/. When you make an online donation please ensure that you select the USA Disaster Response Fund. The website also gives information about easy-to-make $10.00 donations via text (text HEAL to 20222) as well as other ways of making donations.

We keep all those affected by this catastrophe in our prayers as they begin the long, difficult work of rebuilding their lives and communities.
