Living in the Resurrection (June 17, 24)

Having spent three weeks thinking about preparing for the end of life, we continue our exploration of Resurrection by looking at the way we pray: how does our liturgy express and form us in the power of Resurrection? What theology of Resurrection do we find in our Eucharistic prayers, in the shape and structure of the liturgy, and in the hymns we sing?

A Wrinkle in Time (July 1, 8, 15, 22, 29)  - a discussion for all ages!!

Before it was a movie, A Wrinkle In Time was a Newbery Award winning book. Its author, Madeleine L'Engle, was a deeply faithful Christian (an Episcopalian, no less), and wrote from a Christian perspective. Each week in July at 9 am, join us for conversation about this thought-provoking and inspiring novel. This is a great book to read together as a family. All ages are invited; kids, bring your parents!!

The Kindness Campaign

This past Sunday the Confirmation Class introduced the $5 Project. Twenty volunteers received an envelope containing a $5 bill. The volunteers were instructed to use the $5 to do something kind:

help someone in need, brighten someone's day, etc.

Volunteers were then asked to share their story.  We invite others to join us in the $5 Project. Send us your stories (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) and then look for these stories here in this space!

Summer Hymn Sing

During our summer Sunday services (June 24 through Labor Day weekend), we have an ongoing "hymn-sing" where we sing hymns selected by members of the congregation. If you have a favorite hymn or two (or more), please let us know by submitting them in the hymn box located at the rear door of the church on the ushers table. There are slips of paper there for you to write your selections on).

We can't promise that all suggested hymns make it into a service, but we will do our best to include all of your suggestions.

Volunteer for B-SAFE 2018!

B-SAFE is a partnership between the city and the diocese that provides hundreds of campers with a safe, fun, enriching, and affordable place to spend the summer! St. Paul's will be providing lunch and a Friday field trip for B-SAFE campers at St. Augustine and St. Martin in the South End July 9-13! Come join in the fellowship and service. Whether you're available to help with food preparation, serving, or the field trip, your contribution will make our week a success!

1,000 Toothbrush Project

This summer, our family (Jeff, Paul and Ardani) will be traveling to Guatemala and will be visiting the Mil Milagros school. Margaret, the staff, and ourselves have come together to find things that we can bring to the kids. We have all decided on children's soft toothbrushes. Please help us collect 1,000 toothbrushes for the kids so we can give them out when we arrive. There will be a box in the back of the church where you can drop off your donations by July 8. Many Thanks,

St. Paul's All Parish Retreat. Save the date!
Friday, September 28 to Sunday, September 30

Our annual St. Paul's All Parish Retreat will take place this year from Friday, September 28 to Sunday, September 30 at the Barbara C. Harris Camp and Conference Center in Greenfield, NH. Our focus this year will be on the power of stories: What are the stories we keep? How do we share those stories? How do we write the story we want to live into?

A meeting to reflect on this theme and share ideas for Retreat activities in general will take place after the 10 am service on July 8. Everyone is welcome to join!
