St. Paul's Church in Brookline will host their 5th Annual Rockin' Auction on Saturday, May 9 from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. Due to renovations in the Parish Hall, the silent auction will be held in St. Paul's Rectory, 130 Aspinwall Ave., Brookline (next to the Church).
Exciting silent auction items include tickets to:
- The Red Sox
- A Prairie Home Companion live at Tanglewood
- The Boston Ballet in Les Ballets Russes at the Wang Center
- The Boston Breakers
... as well as a wide variety of wonderful and affordable items donated by local merchants, parishioners, and friends of St. Paul's. Do your last minute Mother's Day shopping by bidding on a Mother's Day picnic and Swan Boat outing, spa sets, and a movie night with baby sitting included!
Live entertainment with a Cabaret theme will feature Brookline's own Louise van Aarsen-Koopman, accompanied by pianist Joe Della Penna. Supervised games and activities will be provided for children of all ages, and tasty tidbits and libations will be served. Cash and personal checks are accepted.
As home to dozens of programs that serve people of all faiths, St. Paul's is part of the rich Brookline fabric, housing the Brookline Emergency Food Pantry, Interfaith Friends of the Homeless, AA and Debtors Anonymous meetings, Girl Scouts, Clinton Path Preschool, Brookline Havurah Minion, and various arts groups. St. Paul's also provides grants to groups and organizations that address issues of poverty and social justice in the U.S. and around the globe. Funds raised at the auction will allow us to continue our ministry of making a difference locally, nationally, and abroad.
