On Monday, August 26, St. Paul's served lunch and read with the children of the Bishop's Summer Academic and Fun Enrichment (B-SAFE) Program at St. Augustine's and St. Martin's in Roxbury.
Several parishioners shopped for supplies, some met early on Monday morning to begin preparations and eight of us drove to St. Augustine's and St. Martin's where we were greeted by a lively group of campers and staff. After serving and sharing lunch, several parishioners read aloud with campers.
Many thanks to everyone who made this possible -- with a special thanks to the campers, counselors and staff of the B-SAFE program. We'll see you all next year!
