Lenten House Church

  • St. Paul's Episcopal Church 15 St. Paul Street Brookline, MA 02446 (map)

Join the St Paul’s community for Lenten House Church at 6:30PM on Fridays during Lent.

We will gather at a different parishioner’s home each week for a shared supper and a time for prayer, learning and compline. This year our theme is Playing with Parables: Godly Play for Grownups. Jesus began many parables with words like these: “The kingdom of God is like . . .” During this year’s Lenten House Gatherings we’ll explore five of these kingdom parables and ask together how then can we live into the kingdom of God amidst our current reality.

Kim & Will Messenger, trained Godly Play storytellers, will present the parables for us to wonder about together. There is no preparation required for these evenings—just bring your curiosity.  We encourage you to sign up HERE to host, bring food, or lead us in gathering prayer or compline.  A pamphlet with prayers and compline will be provided
