Children in Church

Sunday Worship

The Church is the family of God and this very much includes children. At St. Paul’s, children of all ages, abilities, and attitudes are welcome in all of our services. We remember that in Jesus, God came to dwell with us in the form of a human baby, squirminess and all. We also recognize that many young children need developmentally appropriate stimuli to keep them engaged in our worship together. A changing table is located in each restroom on the upper level of the parish house.

For children ages 4-10, there are children’s bulletins with coloring pages and activities, as well as crayons and age-suitable books, all of which can be taken and used in your seats. In addition to our Sunday School offered during the program year, the St. Paul’s Nursery is also open during the 10 a.m. service for children up to 4 years in age.

Parents and young children love the pews along the sides of our worship space. Children from ages 1-3 are also welcome with their parents in our “Toddlers’ Corner.” This area features faith-focused books and other quiet activities for this age range, with easy access to restrooms and the nursery.
